This guide will go through every aspect of the skill, they will be information for people who have never played the game or have been inactive for very long periods of time. You may think that some information is useless but you can just skip the parts you already know because I want to make this as accurate as it can get. In this guide I will explain the different steps in getting 99 in every skill. The methods I will teach you is the fastest I found. There may or may not be faster rates and I strongly encourage you to reply with your own way of doing stuff so we can make this guide nearly perfect!

Remember getting a 99 gives you a cool skillcape that has an emote and you get 15 extra level points for a maxed skill.

Agility: (AGI)

Intro:

Whether you want a couple extra level points or you want an acess to the strykewyrms cave, you will need to get your agility up. If you are not planning to ever do strykewyrms (they drop SoL) I strongly suggest to stay at a relatively low agility level unless you really enjoy grinding. Every obstacle give bet

Training:

First off, you will have to teleport to the agility course. Open your spellbook and click advanced skill teleport->agility. Once you are on gnome agility course you have to go through the obstacles and complete laps. Every obstacle will grant you between 500 and 1500 experience. A full lap is approximately 6k xp. It is the only course available and thats what makes it the hardest skill on game.

Attack: (ATT)

Intro:

Attack is an important aspect of combat, as it determines how accurate your hits will be on your opponents. As your Attack level increases, you'll be able to wield stronger weapons.

Training:

I suggest you start out training at rock crabs, spellbook -> monsters -> rock crabs.
In order to get attack exp you will have to click the crossed swords icon in your main interface and choose the correct attack style. Once you are set you can gain exp off any monster in the game. simply click on the monster to start attacking him. There are many factors that will make your exp rates vary. The higher your strength is, the higher you will hit. Hitting higher results in more experience per hit so it allows you to level up quicker. As your Attack level increases, you'll be able to wield stronger weapons. I advise checking the shops every 20 attack levels in order to upgrade your weapon to get the best rates available. I also recommend to train ATT and STR pretty evenly so you get fluid training. Getting 99 should be relatively easy as the exp rates are very high on this server. Attack can be boosted by an attack potion or an overload, which will make you more accurate.

Constitution: (HP)

Intro:

Constitution, formerly known as "Hitpoints", is the cradle of all Combat skills. Without Constitution, fighting an enemy would be impossible. This skill is responsible for the amount of Life Points you have. The higher your Life Points, the longer you can last in a fight against any kind of trouble you may face.

Training:

Constitution is the base of all combat skills, you will be rewarded with HP exp every time you deal damage to an enemy. You don't really have to worry about training it as it will go up by itself while you focus on other combat skills. During a fight your HP will go down as the monster attacks you. In order to heal, you will have to eat food. The most popular items used to heal -> manta rays. ( they can be found in the supply shop at home).

Cooking: (COOK)

Intro:

You will realize fast enough that cooking isn't very useful on this server as you can buy cooked food from the shop. You can whether get your cooking up for the level points or the sexy cape.

Training:

As you cannot buy raw fish from a vendor on the server you will have to fish your own food in order to cook it. See the fishing section for more information on fishing.
Once you have all the raw fish you need you will have to use them on a fire or a range. If you want fast exp you want to cook the best food your level suggest. Here are a few examples. Shrimps-lvl1, Tuna-lvl30, Lobster-lvl40, Swordfish-lvl45,
Sharks-lvl80, Manta ray-lvl91.

Crafting: (CRAFT)

Intro:

Crafting is a valuable skill in RuneScape, giving you the ability to make pottery, leather, craft your own jewelry and Battle Staffs, make vials and orbs from hot sand, as well as other helpful uses. Crafting isn't a very useful skill on this server either but it gives very fast level points and you make money while you train !

Training:

To start you will need a couple millions in order to get going. Open your spellbook > skill teleport . Now run west until you get in the shop with the fish icon. Trade the shopkeeper and buy a chisel along with a full inventory of sapphires. Use the chisel of every sapphire in your inventory to make exp. Once you reach level 27 you will switch to emerald, level 34 to ruby, level 43 to diamond and level 55 for dragontones. From level 55-99 you will be doing dstones. It should be very quick!

Defence : (DEF)

Intro :

Defence is one of RuneScape's most important Combat skills. Unlike popular belief, Defence does not decrease the amount of damage inflicted upon you. Instead, it determines how often a foe will hit you, and it allows you to wear better armour types.

Training :
I suggest you start out training at rock crabs, spellbook -> monsters -> rock crabs.
In order to get DEF exp you will have to click the crossed swords icon in your main interface and choose the correct style. Once you are set you can gain exp off any monster in the game. simply click on the monster to start attacking him. There are many factors that will make your exp rates vary. The higher your strength is, the higher you will hit. Hitting higher results in more experience per hit so it allows you to level up quicker. As your DEF level increases, you'll be able to wear stronger armors. I advise checking the shops every 20 DEF levels in order to upgrade your gear to get the best protection available. I also recommend to train ATT and STR pretty evenly so you get fluid training. Getting 99 should be relatively easy as the exp rates are very high on this server. DEF can be boosted by a defence potion or an overload, which will make you more accurate.

Dungeoneering : (DUNG or DG)

Intro :

Dungeoneering is a skill in RuneScape which involves exploring the vast dungeons of Daemonheim, while using your other skills to solve puzzles, and battling the creatures that await you. Getting DG up will allow you to use tokens on VERY strong gear.

Training :

First of all, you will need to buy a ring of kinship from the supply vendor at home. Click on the ring so you are teleported into the GD area. Make sure you bank all item and proceed to the cave. For further explanation on every floor check out my dungeoneering guide on this forums.

Farming : (FARM)

Intro :

Farming is another interesting skill in RuneScape, tied in with Herblore. You have the ability to grow your own variety of plants, from fruits and vegetables, to herbs, trees and other useful plants! Farming will be the only way to obtain herbs in order to get your herblore skills up. So if you're planning to get both of these skills up you can train them at the same time.

Training :

To start you will need a couple millions in order to get going. Open your spellbook > skill teleport . Now run west until you get in the shop with the fish icon. Trade the shopkeeper and buy every king of seed you can buy, you won't need a lot of low level seeds might you might have to stack a few dwarfweed and torstols. Now that you have your seeds head over to the bank to the west of where you bought the seeds and proceed to bank every thing but your lowest leveled seed. Run north to the herb patch and plant the seed. Now pick up the herbs from the patch ( every seed should yield between 3 and 7 herbs) . When your inventory is full go back to the bank. If you can use better tier seeds make sure you switch in order to get the best rate you can.

NOTE :If you want faster FARM exp and you are NOT planning on doing herblore I suggest using seeds on the patch to the east of the seed vendor. This patch doesn't yield any herb, yet you will gain much faster xp as you will not need to clear the patch before planting something new.

Firemaking : (FM)

Intro :

Firemaking is used to create fire from logs and ignite various light sources as well as other objects. It is closely related to the Woodcutting skill, since the main method of training Firemaking is to burn logs. You will not need to get your FM level up on this server unless you want the skillcape or the level points.

Training :

Open your spellbook > skill teleport. Now run west until you get in the shop with the fish icon. Trade the shopkeeper and buy a tinderbox. In order to get FM exp you will have to use your tinderbox on logs. For further explanations on how to get logs see the WoodCutting skill section. For fastest exp make sure you burn the best log possible. Getting 99 firemaking shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

Fishing : (FISH)

Intro :

Fishing is an important skill that many RuneScapers rely on for food, since there are many areas full of healthy fish to catch. Other people choose to sell their catches for money, or trade them for other things that they can use. As everyone buys food fishing will only be useful for getting your COOK level up and get the 2nd hardest 99 on the server.

Training :

Open your spellbook > skill teleport. Now run west until you get in the shop with the fish icon. Trade the shopkeeper and buy a small fishing net, a lobster cage and a harpoon. Once you've gotten everything together, find a sparkling fishing spot in the water and click on it. You may need to right-click to get the correct option. Your character will continue fishing until your backpack is full, or you click somewhere around you. The best xp rate on the server are tunas and swordfishes that are caught with a harpoon, so AS soon as you hit lvl 30 fishing I suggest doing harpoon fishing. Don't waste your time trying to catch lobsters are they are slower exp. You will get 2.5k exp per fish, should take around 5.5k harpoon fishes to get 99 fishing.

Fletchting : (FLETCH)

Intro :

Fletching is skill allowing you to make your own bows and arrows, as well as several other useful types of weapons that are used in Ranging. If you are not planning to go for all 99s, or you don't need the level points, I would not recommend getting FLETCH up as you will waste many magic logs.

Training :

Like the FM , FLETCH is closely related to the Woodcutting skill as it requires log in order to train. To start, open your spellbook > skill teleport. Now run west until you get in the shop with the fish icon. Trade the shopkeeper and buy a chisel. For further explanations on how to get logs see the WoodCutting skill section. Use your chisel on a nomal log and start by doing arrow shafts, as you level up, you will be alowed to make bows off better logs. Make sure you always use the best log you can to optimize your rate.

Herblore : (HERB or HERBY)

Intro :

Herblore can be quite an interesting skill, allowing you to brew your own potions and mixtures by combining the correct ingredients together. Each potion has a unique effect when you drink or use it, such as curing poison, raising your Defence, or adding poison to a dagger.

Training

If you are not 99 farming I wouldn't suggest doing HERBY right now, get farming then come back here. Open your spellbook > skill teleport. Now run west until you get in the shop with the fish icon. Trade the shopkeeper and buy at least 300 water vial. To start training I recommend cleaning all the herbs you got from FARM. Once you cleaned all your herbs, you want to withdraw 14 of the best herb you can use along with 14x vial of water. Use every herb on the vials to turn them into potions. Repeat untill 99 and make sure you use the best kind of herb possible.

Hunter : (HUNT)

Intro :

The hunter skill is a very interesting skill in RuneScape, giving you the ability to track, set traps, and catch all sorts of creatures that you would otherwise be unable to interact with. It takes patience though, and you'll need to start small and work your way up to the tougher creatures - but it's worth it! Getting 99 hunter on this server will allow you acess to strykewyrm cave ( along with 90 agility) and you will get some more level points from it.

Training :

Open your spellbook > skill teleport. Now run west until you get in the shop with the fish icon. Trade the shopkeeper and buy a butterfly net. Now open your spellbook > advanced teleport > hunter . The only thing you will be hunting will be implings as its the best exp/profit. Start by catching baby implings. Unlike all other skills, I wouldnt suggest trying to catch the best you can as you will fail too much and it'll end up slowing you down. Once you hit level 64 hunter you will keep doing natures instead of jumping to magpies. At level 75 magpies are a safe choice even though you could do ninjas. Then from level 85 you can start doing ninjas at a good rate and you keep doing them until you reach 99 as dragon are more xp but much harder to catch. This 99 shouldnt take you too long but it will make your finger hurt cause it requires a lot of clicking!

Magic : (MAGE)

Intro :

Magic is a unique skill in RuneScape, allowing you to cast spells using magical Runes imbued with special powers. You can do so many things with this skill, from teleporting to cities instantly or even sending a fiery missile towards your opponent! There 3 are magic spellbooks, normal/lunar/ancient, you can switch using the altars located at home. Magic can be boosted using a magic potion,

Training :

The base of magic lies on runes. You will need them in order to cast spells. Buy a stack of at least 1000 runes of every kind at the store and get some magic gear. I suggest training magic with combat spells. Open your spellbook > monsters > rock crabs. If you have a staff equip it and click the double cross blade on your main interface, then choose the casting button, and pick the best spell you can use. After just click on a monster around you to start casting at him. Make sure you change your auto casting spell when you get high enough for a new spell. Higher level spells will hit higher. Once you hit lvl 80+ I woulld suggest changing to ancient magic as you will get more xp from these spell. Keep doing this until 99.

Note : You will only be able to autocast ancient spells using an ancient staff of a staff of light.

Mining : (MINING)

Intro :

For some RuneScapers, the tap, tap sound of a pickaxe against a rock is all that's needed to get the day started. This handy skill allows you to get ores from a rock, which can be used in smithing or trading, and it can be quite profitable once you can mine some of the various kinds of metals. Runite ores are selling for 500k each in general store, that makes mining one of the most profitable moneymaking on the server.

Training :

Open your spellbook > skill teleport. Now run west until you get in the shop with the fish icon. Trade the shopkeeper and buy an iron and a rune pickaxe. Start at copper ores, when you hit lvl 15 jump on iron, lvl 35 on coals(make sure you switch to yuor rune pickaxe when you hit level 41), lvl 55 on mithril lvl 70 on adamant and keep doing adamant untill you reach level 99mining. Keep all the ores gotten from mining as they will be used towards your smithing level. Once you hit 99 you can keep mining runite ores for profit.

Prayer : (PRAY)

Intro :

Prayer can give you a huge advantage when facing even the meanest of enemies during combat. It can come in handy if you need an extra burst of strength, a moment of being invincible to magic, or even a faster healing time! Since there are so many things it can help with, Prayer is a skill worth getting better at. On this server prayer is extremely easy to get. Just like magic, there are 2 different prayer books, regular prayers and curses. You can switch any time using the altar at home.

Training :

Buy a bunch of dragon bones from the supply vendor at home. ( you shoudnt need more that 200-300). Use them one by one on the gilded altar beside the bank at home to get prayer xp. You should hit 99 in no time. When fighting monsters make sure you protect against the attack style they are using and you can even boost your damage output with the different prayer available to you.

Ranged : (RNG)

Intro :

Ranging is another distinctive combat skill, allowing you to attack your enemies from a distance, rather than close-up. This gives you the advantage, since most of your enemies are unable to attack you from far away, and you have the opportunity to inflict massive amounts of damage before they even reach you. Ranged will be useful on some bosses so you should not neglect training it! You can boost your ranged using potions.

Training :

First off, go to the range vendor at home. Buy a set of black d'hide, a shortbow, a magic shortbow, a rune crossbow , 50 iron arrows, 500 rune arrows and around 100-200 dragon bolt(e). I strongly recommend buying an ava's accumulator as you will save a LOT of arrows. Open your spellbook > monsters > rock crabs. Equip your shortbow and iron arrows then attack a monster. Once you reach 50 RNG you want to switch for your magic shortbow and your rune arrows. After you get 70 ranged you can equip your black dragon hide set which will help you be more accurate. At 80-85 ranged you switch for your rune scrossbow and dragon bolts(e), You will get level 99 in no time using this method.

Runecrafting : (RC)

Intro :

Runecrafting is both a fun and useful skill, giving you the ability to make your own Runes from scratch. This skill can probably be considered a Mage's best friend, as spells can often use up many Runes, and with this ability you'll be able to craft your own! It can be useful on this server considering the high cost of high level runes.

Training :

Open your spellbook > skill teleport. Now run west until you get in the shop with the fish icon. Trade the shopkeeper and buy at least 2k rune essence. Go back where the skill teleport brought you and deposit all your essences. Withdraw 28 unoted essences and talk to the mage of zamorak. Choose the best option you can do considering your RC level. After using up the 2000 essence you bought , you should have 99 RC.

Slayer : (SLAY)

Intro :

The Slayer skill is much like your Combat skill, although slightly different. This Members-Only skill allows you to fight and kill monsters that you would normally be unable to defeat without the Slayer skill and equipment. It also gives you a fun way to alternate between different kind of monster without getting bored of killing the same thing over and over. There are juicy rewards waiting for you if you can gather enough slayer points!

Training :

Every slayer level starts with a task assigned by a slayer master. The slayer master Duradel is located at home. Talk to him and ask for a task. Gear up in consequence and go slay the monster you have been assigned. If you are not strong enough or your slayer level is too low to kill a given monster then talk to him again and ask him for an easier task. Killing a monster assigned by your master will yield combat AND slayer exp. At the end of the task you will receive some slayer points ( based on the difficulty of the task) and a bunch of experience. Go back to the slayer master to get a new task and repeat untill 99.

Note : If you don't feel confident enough to kill an assigned task don't bother trying it and loosing your items as you die. You better play safe and switch for an easier task.

Smithing :(SMITH)

Intro :

The ability to forge your own weapons and armor out of various metals found in RuneScape can be quite a useful skill. It can also be profitable, since as you gain experience and are able to smith better armors and weapons, the more money you will make from selling them.

Training :

If you are not 99 mining I wouldn't suggest doing SMITH right now, get mining then come back here. Open your spellbook > skill teleport . Withdraw the copper ore you got from the mining skill. Use the ores on the furnace located south of the skill teleport. Once all your ores are converted into bars you can make armour off them. Walk west a bit and you will spot an anvil. Use the bars on the anvil ( note that you will NOT need a hammer). Select the item that requires the most bars that is available to you. Make sure you always use the best bars you can. Level 1-30 bronze, 30-50 steel, 50-70 mithril, 70-85 adamant and then you will have the choice to complete with the addy ores you have in your bank from mining or you can mine some runite ores to make rune items. 99 shouldnt take very long.

Summoning : (SUMM)

Intro :

So, you've decided to take a crack at Summoning? Whether you're after a Minotaur to fight alongside you in battle, a Beaver to help you in your Woodcutting needs, or a Yak to carry your valuable items, Summoning is the skill for you. The following guide will hopefully make it a little easier for you to make sense of this wild skill. Summoning will get you to 138 combat from 126.

Training :

The whole process of SUMM will be done inside the home bank. You will need around 150million gold to achieve this skill masterry. First off, buy 1k gold, green, crimson and blue charms from the charm vendor. Then buy 200k spirit shards and 1k empty pouches from pikkupstix inside the bank. In order to get summoning exp you will have to use an ingredient its conrresponding charm while having spirit shards and empty pouches in your inventory. Start with the first ingredients in the shop and proceed through untill you reach the level required for lava titans. Since lava runes can stack you will be able to create an infinite amount of pouches without having to bank to get new ingredients. I suggest using this method until 99 summoning.

Thieving : (THIEF)

Intro :

Thieving is definitely one of the most interesting skills in the game, with a variety of things for both the casual thief and the professional kleptomaniac to practice on. The skill gives you acess to pickpocketing for quick cash. Thieving is probably one of the simplest skill to train on this server. You will be able to make decent profit off it.

Training :

Open your spellbook > skill teleport, walk south and start on the eastern stall. As you level up you will be able to steal from harder stalls. You get more money from higher level stalls. On the western stall you have a very slim chance to pickpocket a ''golden bowl'' which can be sold for 250m at the general store.

Woodcutting : (WC)

Intro :

Woodcutting is a skill in RuneScape that requires players to cut down trees in order to obtain experience as well as logs. Along with it being one of the first skills since RuneScape Classic, woodcutting benefits both the player and other skills. Without it, skills such as Fletching or Firemaking would not be possible. It is also the best moneymaking method for skillers.

Training :

Open your spellbook > skill teleport. Now run west until you get in the shop with the fish icon. Trade the shopkeeper and buy an iron and a rune hat. Start on a normal tree north of the skill teleport. Once you reach level 15 move on onto the oak tree. When you get to level 30 jumpo on willows and do them untill you reach 75 WC as they are faster than yews. From 75 to 99 do magic tree, make sure you save the logs for fletching or firemaking. You can also sell magic logs at the shop for 400k each. Wcing magics for an hour can yield up to around 600m per hour.

That was it for my skill guide, hope it helped . Make sure to give contructive feedback if you found any better/faster ways of training!
